JITTERBUGS BABY DANCE CLASSES
Discover the joy of dance
If you are wanting to give your child the chance to explore movement, music and interaction with others, this is a great way to start.We sing,dance and move to popular children's songs and nursery rhymes. We have lots of apparatus to explore such as tunnels, gym mats, trampets, pom poms, balls, hoops etc. A dedicated part of the class is for singing with instruments and we also include a fresh fruit snack pot.We’re happy to answer any questions you have about this class or any others - simply contact us or stop by.Jitterbugs starts 8 months to 4 1/2
BALLET CLASS
Let's be on pionte
Ballet is usually where many children begin. We follow a programme of dance from the IDTA.Children may if they wish, work their way through the IDTA examination syllabus and gain qualifications.We run shows and displays throughout the year and in the classes we teach choreography for this.Ballet starts at age 3
TAP DANCE
Feel the beat
Tap dance is a wonderful way to encorporate sound and movement. Many children love the sound they make when wearing Tap shoes.We follow a dedicated programme and work from the IDTA syllabus.Children may if the wish work their way through examinations.We use routines and choreography to encorporate our Tap classes in our shows and displays throughout the year.Tap dance starts at age 3
STREET DANCE
Move to the beat
This class is a favorite among many of our students. Everyone loves the opportunity to explore the new dance moves taught in this class, while also mastering the classic moves.We offer examinations in this form of dance also through the IDTA. Our amazing instructors make sure everyone gets individual attention while keeping the class collaborative. We uses pieces we have learnt to encorporate in our may shows and displays throughout the year. Street dance starts at 6 years .
LYRICAL DANCE
Try something new
A mixture of Ballet and Contemporary, this class is not an exam class it is purely to have fun and enjoy learning a new elegant way of expressing yourself .All classes work towards shows and displays throughout the year.Lyrical starts at age 7
BRITISH GYMNASTICS
Let’s Do It
Led by a dedicated instructors, this class is a just for fun class but children can also work their way through the British Gymnastic badge system. Interested in learning more? Get in contact with a member of our team, we’re happy to answer any questions.Gymnastics starts at 5 years.
